Church Edition Volume 6: A Nation Divided (Kings & Chronicles)
Your children’s ministry will follow the nations of Israel and Judah as they go through 39 kings! Some of the kings follow God, and others try to do everything in their power to destroy God’s people. But God shows his faithfulness by sending prophets like Elijah, Elisha, and Isaiah to remind his people that he has a plan.
Four weeks of lessons:
- Week 1: The children will review the stories of King Saul, King David, and King Solomon and also learn the Bible story about King Jeroboam.
- Week 2: The children will learn the stories of Elijah and Elisha found in 1 and 2 Kings.
- Week 3: The children will learn the stories of the kings found in 2 Kings and discover that kings were both good and bad.
- Week 4: The children will learn about the fall of Israel and the hope that Isaiah proclaimed.
